Geneva was born right here at Chapel Hill Farm. Her sire is the 17h premium Oldenburg stallion Soprano. Soprano is a proven producer of premium offspring as well as under saddle performers. In 2010 two Soprano offspring from his first foal crop were selected to represent Demark in the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses. Soprano’s sire is Sandro Hit who has sired numerous approved stallions for multiple registries. His huge impact on dressage breeding is undeniable.

   Geneva is the daughter of our foundation mare Ode Aan Liris by Argus. Argus is a multipurpose breeding stallion who competed in both FEI dressage and Grand prix jumping simultaneously! During his stallion testing he scored equally impressive scores for gaits and jumping. In 1988 he sired more first premium foals than any other stallion.

   We have decided to keep Geneva as a future breeding and riding mare, and are looking forward to watching her develop. At her 2011 KWPN keuring in Georgia Geneva was given a first premium!
